Austria
The Salzburg Academy on Media & Global Change is a unique three-week study abroad program in Salzburg, Austria. Sixty students and a dozen faculty attend from all five continents to literally create a dynamic, online Global Media Literacy curriculum. In debates and workshops, through lectures and small group sessions the students decide how universities should teach about how media cover the world.

This apprenticeship-style course in international reporting represents a unique opportunity for students to acquaint themselves with the day-to-day realities of international reporting in one of the world’s most complex, fast-evolving and fascinating journalistic beats – the People’s Republic of China.
Czech Republic
This Photojournalism course consists of lectures on documentary techniques and aesthetic principles as well as practical work on location. For the more advanced students there may be an opportunity to work as interns for The Prague Post, an English language Weekly newspaper based in Prague.
Denmark
The exchange program with Aarhus University is ideal for advanced undergraduate or graduate students with a strong interest in media studies. Students may apply for a one-semester exchange or for a full year of study at Aarhus. Many courses are taught in English.
Finland
The University of Tampere is Finland's leading site for Social Sciences, including Journalism and Mass Communication, which was the first institution of higher education in Scandinavia to introduce Journalism as a discipline.

Germany
The SPICE program is an intensive summer study abroad program in Erfurt, Germany, offered through The University of Texas at Austin College of Communication and the University of Erfurt Department for Media and Communication.
Ireland
This skills-centered course represents a special opportunity for public relations education at The University of Texas at Austin. This course focuses on all the essential elements of a basic PR class — writing, campaign design, interview skills — but it does so in one of the world’s fastest changing environments.

Hong Kong
The goal of this Maymester Abroad program is to equip students with an understanding of the state-of-the-art media and their integration into advertising campaigns by focusing on the Asia-Pacific area as a center of dynamic innovation.
Spain - Pamplona
The University of Navarra is a private university based in Pamplona, Spain, with three other campuses: Madrid, San Sebastián and Barcelona. The University is consistently regarded as Spain’s top private University and is recognized among the most distinguished institutions in Europe.
Spain - Santander
The Oral History as Journalism- Spain course is offered in conjunction with the UT Spanish Language and Culture Program in Santander, Spain.
Singapore
This new College of Communication exchange program with Nanyang University of Technology is available to students beginning this spring.
