Guillermo C. Nicolas

Guillermo C. Nicolas (San Antonio), TX is President and General Partner of 3N Group, LLC., a privately held management and development company specializing in commercial real estate. He was recently asked to be President of the Alameda Organization which consist of the Museo Alameda, a Smithsonian affiliate, The soon to be renovated Teatro Alameda, a Kennedy Center affiliate, The Henry Ford Academy of Art and Design and the Casa de Mexico office building. Prior to this, Guillermo was Director of Home Shopping Español, an international shopping channel seen by over 30 million Spanish speakers in the United States, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
Guillermo’s Grandfather, Raoul Cortez was the pioneer of Spanish language radio and television in the U.S. His Father, Emilio, along with two partners, built what is now Univision, the largest Spanish language television network and the first satellite interconnected network in the country. Guillermo is an avid contemporary art collector. He is the immediate past-chairman of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation and a member of the board of the College of Communications at the University of Texas at Austin, He is the Finance Chairman for Luminaria 2010, San Antonio’s citywide art festival and a board member of San Antonio’s Public Art Board or PASA. He was honored by the Ford foundation in 2007 for his efforts in education. Guillermo graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, earning a degree in history and a minor in art history.
